For over 18 years, I was the creative force behind Emma Hunt London, designing and producing couture bridal and occasion wear for private clients and retail. I had the joy of developing a vast network of friends, suppliers, and contacts during this time, while also gaining a deep understanding of the industry and what it takes for a business to shine within it. I am so proud of the eye for detail and the people skills that I honed over this time, and now I love using all of this to serve wonderful business owners like you. I know how important it is to partner with someone you trust, and whom understands and cares about your business as much as you do.
Social media is more important than ever as a tool for maximising and refining your audience, but it’s also become more difficult to navigate: not only has it grown more complex, it’s also a space where it is increasingly difficult to stay true to yourself. In the meantime, let me share a little bit about me: I grew up in a beautiful picturesque coastal village in East Anglia, where I became passionate about nature, freedom, self-discipline, and hard work. Following a degree in fashion design, I spent a few years searching for my calling – which included working in the catering industry, where I learned even more about communication, professionalism, and truly valuable customer service. I then became the proud owner of a business creating couture wedding dresses, which I ran for 18 wonderful years. In 2016, I decided to re-train and pursue this exciting new path of social media management, and have relished the challenge of uncovering more of the behind-the-scenes magic of this incredible industry. Since then, I’ve been supporting a variety of creatives, mainly within the wedding space, to manage and elevate their social media presence – and have loved every minute of it.
In 2019, with my adorable cat in tow, I moved to an idyllic village in West Sussex. After losing my dear husband Duncan, who put up an almighty 20-year fight against cancer – I‘ve found myself a new nest in the countryside, where I can hear the birds sing every morning. I’m so grateful to have shared my life with him, and been by his side throughout his troubles, and I know that he made me the person I am today. We learned the true quality of life early on, and the value of one’s health and of showing up for a job one loves. We learned very quickly how to make the most of every day.
This ethos feeds into my working style too, which very much revolves around partnerships: I’ve always believed in genuine, caring, and honest communication. I’m very down to earth and easy going, and it’s so important to me that each and every one of my clients feels at ease when speaking with me and working alongside me. I’m here so that you can focus on doing what you do best, and what you most love - because every single moment of this wonderful life is precious.
